I follow a few bloggers who somehow find the inspiration to post many articles per day – and I mean every single day with out fail. Personally I can only find that much inspiration about 3 times a month then I am left with barely any inspiration for weeks and my posts end up having a lesser quality that before. This can be a problem when I have a slightly larger audience.

Sometimes it is difficult coming up with topics I feel passionate enough about to find the right words for and my blog suffers from it. Often, to get a little bit of my inspiration back, I read other bloggers articles, watch a little bit of television or go out for a walk and these things generally do help me find the will to write again, but sometimes I just can’t seem to find it and for that I apologise.

Sorry for not being able to post articles every single day and if the ones I do post aren’t very good, but I am trying…very hard and I hope that shows. When starting this blog I thought I would get ten followers and a couple hundred views but the audience I have is so much bigger than I could have expected and I am so thankful for that.

Although maybe apologising isn’t the right thing to do. Maybe I should be thanking you for actually reading my posts and giving me the courage to continue posting every single day. Thank you for all the support and time you give me. I really, truly appreciate it.

Having an audience has made me realise that my words can actually make a difference in the world. If I can help even one person maintain a more positive attitude or change their life making a positive decision then I have made it as a blogger. My aim when setting this blog up was to have an audience I could help and I honestly think I am nearly there – I just need to find more inspiration.

Please tell me if I am already helping people because I hope I am. I hope people read my posts and think “I like that attitude, maybe I could use it too”. The thing I want more than anything is to help people become as happy and confident as I feel. If I can find my true inspiration then I will be able to help so many people.

How does everyone else go about finding inspiration? Do you have any special techniques that give you inspirations, any places you go or things you read? If so please share them with me, I could use all of the help I can get. Is there anything I can do to improve my writing to make it better to read? Basically – do you have any advice for me?

  1. This is a very lovely post.
I do find it difficult at times to actually come up with topics to write about. How I find things to write about is generally from talking to others, reading (get ideas mostly from newspapers) and looking at other blogs- I don’t copy but sometimes for example, someone may write about something I too have done, e.g go on Holiday and I think “oh yeah I could write about my holiday. I don’t do this often though as I need to feel passionate about something before I cam actually write about it. I am also a thinker and sometimes when I can’t sleep I find myself thinking about all sorts so then and there I come up with a topic. Going out and exploring when I can also helps :).

    1. Thank you so much for responding! Thank you for the advice, will definitely use these. I spend a lot of time reading other blogs and that helps, but maybe I should take my conversations as inspiration too!
