Life is like an airplane

Our lives are comparable to airplanes
Not in body or structure but in actions
If something goes wrong there are many complaints
In the end it all comes down to our reactions
When we fly, we fly higher than the clouds
No looking back, only forward and beyond the sun
Rocky times come a hitting and we’re stuck in the crowd
No escape from what’s wrong we feel somewhat glum
Often we keep ourselves in mid flight
Safe, steady and never steering towards plight
This can be as dangerous as a shaky landing
A droll routine becomes the norm almost like standing
We go up, we stay steady, we come down
It’s a cycle we all face at least once
Turbulence is for me the image of a clown
Seemingly scary but extremely harmless
Don’t drift off to the ground, keep going strong and reach the clouds.
