Sandy

Sandy

As we perch here on the soft terrain, shivering

The world and all it’s creatures are against us

We fear their power which causes bouts of quivering

There they stand on the concrete watching us sink

Sinking rapidly in to our own self conscious hell land

A world we are all too familiar with, unfortunately

The one dark place where no one can give a helping hand

Soon there will be little left, a lack of self esteem permanently

Too similar to that of the past, you dig your way out

Out of the doomy wasteland you had been subjected to

You begin the ascent in to a world of hardly any doubt

Saved, but only through your own will. Can I make it too?
