Caught in a trap, no escape there in sight

Hurdled through the chaos of your nightmares

Lost is all hope in your fiery plight

The best you can do is hope for no scares

Flying now, you are caught in a dark cloud

Eating you whole like a snake with a mouse

You scream and scream but it’s not very loud

At which point you are launched in to a house

Cold , dark and damp are the rooms in the house

Blue, lost and sad is what it emanates

Over in the corner sits your dead spouse

Lifelessly staring at you and your fate

Pinching your arm in the hopes of release

No luck you discover is the old trick

If you wake up will your existence cease?

Will you find yourself devoid of your kick?
