We are a prologue that’s gone on too long

Dancing round the fire from inside my heart

Singed at the edges from burning too strong

You stand silently like a work of art

Totally submersed in your grand stature

Burning strongly to the point of true pain

Your gentle love can heal me at my core

And release me from my withering strain
