Many people who know me, know that I’ve been wanting to start a podcast for a long time, but didn’t have the confidence to do so. After several months of being stuck in the flat due to lockdown I had a good long think and decided that confidence will come as I start actually recording the podcast. That’s how How Do You Mind came to be. I have even signed up to a Radio and Podcasting course at my local college in order to help improve my skills as a podcaster.
What is How Do You Mind?
How do you mind is a podcast about mental health, self-care and wellbeing. I intend to interview guests and hear their stories about mental health, their tips for self-care and wellbeing and generally have a good chat with them. I decided to make it a mental health based podcast due to mental health affecting us all in different ways at different times of our lives. I feel that if someone hears a relatable mental health story and hears things they hadn’t thought to do about it, they will feel more confident and happy to talk to their friends, doctors or therapists.
